This privacy notice is provided by Yay Kumaş ("Company"), as data controller, under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), to inform people who contact us through our website.

2. Personal data we process

  • Identity: first and last name
  • Contact: phone number, email address
  • Professional: company name
  • Request details: fabric type, estimated quantity and message
  • Security: technical records of the form submission (IP address, date and time)

3. Purposes

  • Receiving and answering your quote and information requests
  • Contacting you and establishing a business relationship
  • Keeping the website and form infrastructure secure

4. Legal grounds and collection method

Your personal data is collected electronically through the quote form on our website, email, phone and WhatsApp. It is processed on the legal grounds of being directly related to the establishment of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c) and the legitimate interest of the data controller (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).

5. Transfers

Information submitted through the form is delivered to us by email. Our email (Google) and website hosting (Vercel) providers use servers located outside Turkey. Your data is transferred only to provide these services and in line with Article 9 of the KVKK. It is not shared with other third parties, except with competent public authorities where required by law.

6. Retention

Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose requires and for the limitation periods set out in the applicable legislation, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing, know the third parties it is transferred to, request correction, deletion or destruction, request that third parties be notified, object to automated decisions against you, and claim compensation for unlawful processing.
